Privacy
Last updated 8 September 2026
This notice explains what personal data Edge Verra ("we") processes when you use our website and content-delivery services, why we process it, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Controller
The controller for the processing described here is Edge Verra. Contact: privacy@edgeverra.com.
2. Data we process
2.1 Website visitors
When you visit edgeverra.com we process technical connection data — IP address, request time, requested resource, referrer and user-agent — for the limited purpose of delivering the page and keeping the site secure. These records are kept for up to 14 days and then deleted or aggregated.
2.2 Traffic served through our edge
When we deliver a customer's property, requests pass through our points of presence. Edge log lines (IP, timestamp, response code, PoP, requested path) are processed on behalf of that customer under a data-processing agreement and retained for up to 14 days for security and troubleshooting.
2.3 Contact and business correspondence
If you email us or ask about our services, we process the contact details and message content you provide, in order to respond and to manage the business relationship.
3. Purposes and legal bases
| Purpose | Legal basis (Art. 6 GDPR) |
|---|---|
| Serving and securing the website | Legitimate interest — 6(1)(f) |
| Delivering and protecting customer traffic | Contract / processor — 6(1)(b), 28 |
| Responding to enquiries | Legitimate interest — 6(1)(f) |
| Meeting legal and accounting obligations | Legal obligation — 6(1)(c) |
4. Cookies
The website sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. A language preference may be stored in your browser so the site remembers it; this stays on your device and is not sent to third parties.
5. Recipients and transfers
We do not sell personal data. Traffic is terminated within the EU. Where a sub-processor is used (for example for infrastructure or email), it is bound by a data-processing agreement and, where relevant, EU standard contractual clauses.
6. Retention
Connection and edge logs: up to 14 days. Correspondence: for as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up. Records required by law (e.g. invoices): for the statutory retention period.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@edgeverra.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data-protection supervisory authority in your jurisdiction.
8. Changes
We may update this notice as our services evolve. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
